Why this
Seventeens weren't a looks call. With the 2.5" lift they just clear the rubbing that would force cutting the metal behind the front arch, and the 17" keeps more sidewall. Looks, clearance, proportion — they all line up.
Trade-offs
Gave up the drama of a big wheel for more sidewall — and the wheel-to-tire proportion I keep coming back to.
Fitment
At this spec with a 2.5" lift, no arch trimming is needed; 5×130 matches the 957's factory bolt pattern.
